The Wild Horse

Cute and cozy place down on Caroline Street. We were the only two there, one other couple came in as we were finishing our meal. Two wines I was interested in they were out of. Settled for a 3rd, which was delightful. The burgers were good, ordered the jam to go with, which really added a lot of flavor. The menu is okay, not a whole lot, but I think I'd go back and try one of the entrees at some point. Our waitress was new (we were her first customers) and she did a fine job. She'll grow into the position.

Nice chill vibe. Tuna poke nachos not like we expected. Heavy on the nacho cheese. Other meals done nicely. Cocktails and wine, balanced and paired well with pasta dish, respectively. Recommend for a nice little dinner.

First time at The Wild Horse and what an experience. Having the luxury of eating Chef Julia Evan’s menu was a brand new and exciting adventure. Her talent of bringing Italian and Asian fusion together was really awesome! She really puts her whole self into her food and it truly shows with every bite. The setting is very warm and cozy and the cocktails are excellent. Wonderful service from the staff. Very inviting. It’s a bit of a trip from where I live but it was incredibly worth it. Can’t wait to go back for another amazing meal!

Only ordered dessert when I visited The Wild Horse however seeing that all their pasta dishes are homemade makes me want to come back for dinner. Poached Pear- good balance of flavors and sweetness especially with the whipped yogurt which I am now addicted to. I was expecting a bit bigger of a portion. Gelato Flight- can never go wrong with a flight of anything. Flavors were honeycomb, cherry and mascarpone. Very enjoyable, rich and distinct in flavor.

This place is a celiac's dream. My husband and I loved the comforting atmosphere, super friendly staff, and absolutely delicious food (which we could order almost anything and get share because it's gluten-free).
