The Wind-Chill Factory & Mini-Golf at Ballston Spa

We come here often. On Wednesday nights in the summer they host a car show - pretty cool cars! The food is great - we usually enjoy their hotdogs, fries and end with an ice cream. The staff is so friendly, even on those hot days outside. They have mini golf, music sometimes and a great little play area.

A great place to visit for a summer treat and fun. It has mini-golf, serves food and ice cream and has a playground for kids to enjoy. There’s lots of covered seating which is great to get out of the sun and heat. We did not get ice cream this visit only lunch. The hand cut fries were fantastic!

This review is only for the ice cream. We will come back with the kids to try the food/mini golf as they both look good. The ice cream sizes are crazy. A small cone was like a large at any other place. The weather wasn't crazy hot, but the ice cream melted all over my hand and fell onto my feet by the time I walked back to the truck. The soft serve was not nearly as "dense" as other places so I suspect they let more air in the machine to increase profits. Nothing wrong with profit, but you'd make more money by having ice cream that folks love.

On my mission to find the best mini golf in South Saratoga Springs I came across this gem. This location is better maintained than other mini golf I've explored across the NE in the last several years. All 18 holes played true to expectations and provided a solid variation. I made the mistake of ordering way too much delicious soft serve. After seeing several others order after me I realized small=large, medium=crazy big, and large isn't recommend unless you are splitting with at least one other person. Everyone in my party enjoyed several different flavors! Next time I visit I'll make sure to have room for the extensive food menu, the chicken dogs in particular sound delicious. I will definitely be back for more!

The ice-cream and food here is good. I think the prices are fair. The chocolate and vanilla twist is a small in the photo below, so the sizes are large! There is a mini golf course here, it's a fun activity to do when bored. They also have a small playground for kids. If you are in the area I would recommend checking it out.
