The Yardery

We went on a Tuesday evening, it was still busy from a Christmas party just ending and a retirement party just beginning. There were plenty of seats. I ordered the Yardery Burger: a double smash burger stacked with American cheese, candied bacon, crispy onions, and their Yardery sauce. It was excellent: savory, messy in the best way, and full of flavor. My wife got the Avocado Tacos, which come with crispy avocado, black beans, cheddar jack, pico de gallo, cilantro ranch, and she added smoked chicken. Great texture, generous portion, and really well balanced. We both got fries for our sides, and according to my wife, they’re the best fries in Sanford. One small drawback: beers are served in plastic cups. Given how family-friendly the space is and how many toddlers run around the outdoo

We recently had our welcome party for our wedding weekend at The Yardery and it was absolutely amazing. The weather was not the best, and the power went out for a little bit when a transformer blew. However, Claudia and her team did absolutely everything to keep us having a good time. I was a little nervous about seeing the weather predictions that morning as it is an all outdoor space, but she assured us whatever the weather, we would have a great time, and she was absolutely right. Claudia was great at communicating everything with my parents who helped put on the event. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was amazing, and everyone had a great time. Just had our wedding shower here and had amazing service! Todd was the one who helped us throughout the whole planning process and we couldn’t be more thankful for his support. It turned out beautiful, food was amazing, staff was friendly, and atmosphere was perfect.

My wife and I love to visit when the weather is nice! The pulled pork is great and the hot honey chicken is to die for. Downstairs has a great vibe, but our favorite is to sit upstairs - ask for Courtney! She has such a positive vibe and couldn’t ask for a better server/bartender.
