Just popped in there for a bite before going home. I've been here before and thought to revisit it. The night staff was wonderful and sweet. Waitress was very kind and positive and attentative, the chefs were amazing and the food was delicious.
This is such a hard review to leave because we are also restauranteurs. My wife and I wanted some nice hearty salads for lunch so we looked up a few places. We ordered two salads (the mango salad and the arugula, mango, duck walnut, goat cheese salad—never had there been a more literal name for a salad which is fine—just hard to order on the phone). We were told these two salads were going to be 35 minutes. Even during a busy rush (which would seem strange at 2:05), two salads shouldn’t take 35 minutes. What makes it worse is that the Arugala Duck Salad (for short) is described as tradition “New Orleans” style salad. We lived in New Orleans for 4 years and ate all over the city. It’s a culinary mecca. This is not close to anything traditional to New Orleans. The salad was quite small f
Definitely want to eat here again soon! Lots of options for both drinks and food. I got the Traditional Macaroni & Cheese which was delicious once it cooled down. The Tropical Treasure cocktail was so gorgeous and I loved the combination of fruit juices. The ladies bathroom was clean and had one normal sized stall and one handicap stall that also had a baby changing station on the wall.
Excellent dinner spot! This place has something everyone can enjoy. Enormous portions. Super friendly staff. The bread was fresh and fluffy. The cocktails were perfect. The tomato florantine soup was incredible. The meals were savory and filling. You'll definitely have leftovers. My husband and I love coming here for a little date night.
My husband and I stopped I on a Tuesday afternoon about 2 pm. There were two other patrons in the dining room when we arrived. My husband ordered the insider burger I ordered the three cheese grilled cheese. We waited 45 minutes for our orders to arrive and when they came my husbands burger was raw inside. They said they would redo it which took another thirty minutes. They did give him a beer on the house, however we felt the time we waited when there were only two other guests there was unreasonable. The good overall was average. Sorry but a big disappointment.
