The Zodiac

The service was great; attentive, but not smothering. Customers are given a complimentary popover with strawberry butter and a small teacup of chicken broth. The atmosphere is sophisticated. The food was good and served timely.

We had a very pleasant Saturday lunch at The Zodiac. The service was friendly but felt slow at times. The food overall was very good. The chicken tortilla soup and chicken picatta were particularly tasty. The atmosphere felt bright and colorful while exuding a sense of calm and tranquility. It was great to walk through Neiman’s and think about the halcyon days of times past when this was the spot to shop for luxury goods in Dallas. I think you should make your resy and experience this Dallas institution before Saks closes it down next year. The NorthPark NM location is about to get a substantial makeover so we’ll have a shiny new object to capture our attention while the chapter on The Zodiac closes and fades into the darkness of the cosmos.

Spectacular dining experience. The food was outstanding and service was beyond perfect. I hope this restaurant and Neiman Marcus remains open in downtown Dallas — it is a true gem and takes you back in time. Nothing compares to this lunchtime dining experience.

This is a Dallas must. Beautiful, historical Neimans who treated the farm ladies just like high society ladies. The 6th floor Zodiac is a dream place for lunch with friends. Food is fantastic. Service is 5 Star. Historical photos on the elevator wall. Valet parking easy access.

Can someone who dined here tell me what this is?? I ordered a 'sweet potato cake', and I keep thinking this looks and tastes like a carrot cake!
