Thirsty Moose Pub & Grub

Food was excellent and just what you would expect from pub and grub. It was very busy with snowmobilers but still good service. Food was fast, drinks a little slower. Would definitely recommend this place as a quick stop between here and there.

New owners new food! I’ve been 3 times now and the food is awesome. I don’t even ask what the soup of the day is I just order it. Staff is fun and friendly.

Made a stop on our way home from Lake Placid. Food was delicious. Bartender was very attentive and friendly. Got to meet the owner, who also cooks there. We will definitely be back. 100% would recommend to stop here.

Welcome to the new owners! We were thrilled to hear that the Thirsty Moose was going to continue under new management as it’s a great stop when sledding in the area. Food is better than ever and our server was great. Highly recommend!

Stopped for a quick pint and a trip down memory lane from decades past. While we arrived a little before opening, Margaret was kind enough to see us in and set us up with drinks. After a Labatt and a couple stories, we realized we didn’t recognize any of the staff. After brief introductions, we learned the Thirsty Moose had sold and reopened a couple weeks prior. The new menu looks great with fare including traditional bar food, a steak salad, Italian dishes, and homemade soups. Cleanliness also appears to be a new focus. I’ve no doubt there will be a learning curve as the restaurant gets going and the family fills all the roles. Good luck!
