Thirsty Moose Taphouse

First time visiting and we loved the food and the service 💜 We had the smoked rubbed wings for an app, asked for them to be fried and they came out awesome. My husband’s smash burger was on point, and my pulled pork and burger chili was the bomb. Our server was knowledgeable, friendly and very attentive. We will definitively go back again.

After years of avoiding Thirsty Mooses Dover location - Im stoked to be able to have my regular spot back and better than ever! They absolutely crushed it!

Came for lunch while visiting Dover. While the interior is very cool and comfortable the food and service was not. The apps we received were good but our entrees were not. All our food being soggy seemed to be the theme for the meal. I ordered the Cuban and was informed that it was pre made when I asked to have no mustard on it. The sandwich was crusty on the outside while being soggy and flavorless on the inside. My husband's pizza was soggy on the bottom and hard to eat.

Second time here, both times fantastic food, great service, clean dinning area and restrooms. Atmosphere is good but has that same bar type restaurant issues of having to speak loudly for the person next to you or across from you so they can hear you. I have gotten the street tacos and the Tzatziki Chicken Sandwich. Both were fantastic!!!

Brought my girlfriend here for her birthday dinner celebration, I was sat at 8:40. When sat I asked to get a drink and my ID took 10 minutes to check to make sure it was “real” and said she didn’t know Maine ID’s. By the time the waitress came back with my ID she notified me that the kitchen had closed and she couldn’t put in the appetizer we had ordered. I’ve never been to a place that doesn’t serve food to a table that’s sat before the kitchen is closed. I’ve worked in restaurants all my life and you always honor that. I’ve ate here before and it was good but at this point in time I will not return. Extremely disappointing experience for both my girlfriend and I.
