We stopped by half an hour before closing, and we were greeted with huge, welcoming smiles. Service here was outstanding. We had the pho and banh mi, both were phenomenal. Banh mi bread was nicely toasted and crunchy on outside soft on instead, ingredients were very fresh. Pho was huge - just perfect.

So my review is purely on the pho so there is some bias. The rule of thumb is, if they don’t have pho on the name of the restaurant, it’s not their specialty and that rings true here. Their pho is a 5/10. On that note, the high rating is deserving of the rest of the food. The bahn mi is fantastic. Although I like the carrots to be a little thinner, the flavor of the bahn mi was still legit!! 9/10. I will say their eggroll sauce and their bun sauces were only okay to me. If you prefer the rice plates and bahn mis, definitely give this place a try. If you’re wanting pho, keep looking on central! Lastly, the owner of this place is the sweetest!!

I’m dumbfounded by how good this place is! I discovered it as I tried but failed to check out their next door neighbor Thanh-Huong (they were closed). I am glad I had a chance to check this place out! I’m a Bahn Mi noob so take it for what it’s worth... BUT THIS IS THE BEST BAHN MI I HAVE TRIED TO DATE (check my photos). I got the Grilled Pork Bahn Mi which was recommended to me. $4.50 for mouth watering flavorful pork. I added some of their chili sauce for an extra kick. I also checked out their #14 (sorry forgot the name) which was a rice and pork dish with fish sauce and a cucumber lettuce salad. It was excellent as well! Tucked away under a blue corrugated roof, the hidden gem crafts some of the best pho in Charlotte, complete with a complex, rich broth and all the accoutrements. Though the menu may be small, the owners focus on creating exceptional pho and banh mi with generous portion sizes at fair prices. Do yourself a favor and discover this treasure.

This is absolutely the pinnacle of the American pho experience. This is how pho should taste and what a pho place should be. I loved it. I couldn't be happier. Edit: I've been around and the Bahn Mi's are some of the best in town AND you can't beat that $6 price
