Thump Coffee - Downtown

I had the best savory pastry of my life here and continuously have perfect iced Americanos! There is sometimes a bit of a wait, but I appreciate that the staff don't rush their customers and are always willing to remake a drink if something is off. Would recommend!

We stopped by this coffee shop in Bend, OR and had a great experience. The baristas were really friendly, ( these girls were really skilled, and hardworking) The coffee was excellent,my wife loved it and the chocolate croissants were amazing. There are 2 hours of free parking nearby, which made things easy. Beyond the coffee, the hospitality from the people here in Bend really stood out.

I got the Madagascar vanilla mocha with a pump of brown sugar, HOT and it was super delicious! It tasted like a smore or a burnt marshmallow if you’re into that. I also got the gingerbread cookie, warmed, super yummy and sweet with the perfect amount of spice from the gingerbread. The atmosphere is super cozy and chill. If you wanna stop by get some work down while enjoying some quality coffee I say this the spot for you! It’s one of those “hole in the walls” that can set your mood into work mode or just relax for bit mode. Highly recommend if you love coffee and alone time.

Loved this little cafe. We got a cappuccino and chai, which were both excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful. The place was full of people and we also didn't have to wait long for our drinks.

Thump is an exceptional coffee shop in terms of espresso execution as well as roasting quality—I tried the beans at home, and they were the best flavor I'd had in quite some time. It's comparable to Cat & Cloud in Santa Cruz or other world renowned shops. The employees at this location were extremely friendly and talented (espresso pulls) on Sept. 29, 2025, when we visited. Overall, I’d give this place a 98/100. Because I’m fairly particular when it comes to espresso, that score doesn’t come easily, yet Thump truly earned it!
