Thunderbird Restaurant & Lounge

Great food & service that’s worth the drive. Recommend the prime rib & the chicken cordon bleu. FYI, the restaurant is in a rural area so cell service is very weak.

Critic's Corner for Wednesday This week my dining companions and I chose Thunderbird Restaurant and Lounge. When I was a young man The Thunderbird was THE place to go for a classy night out in this area. Back then it was in the height of its glory days. When we 1st arrived and parked in the front of the building I noticed that the once beautiful and inviting landscaping was in disarray with rotting wooden ties falling onto the parking area and the steps going into the building were in such badly need of repair you had to be very careful walking up them to get into the building. Needless to say it needs more than just a little TLC. If you are not careful those steps could be very dangerous. We arrived early for our reservations and went into the bar for cocktails before dinner. One

Such a wonderful date night! The staff is so kind and caring and the good was amazing. This place is a gem not many people know about. We will definitely be back?

The Thunderbird provides great customer service and a classic menu of freshly prepared meals and libations.

Prime rib was very good. Peanut butter sundae was great.
