Thyme Kitchen and Craft Beer

Just had the Poor Boy fish sandwich at Thyme Restaurant, and it was pretty good! The fish was crispy, seasoned perfectly. Others in my party ordered the meat loaf and a chicken pot pie. The atmosphere was really nice and welcoming. I’ll definitely be going back to try more!

We went for the holiday decorations and specials. It is a busy time of year so we made reservations for a late lunch/early dinner. When we arrived they were only about 1/3 full. From the start the service was so slow. It took 20 minutes to get drinks (& we saw what we believed to be two bartenders). It took over an hour for food and even worse was that none of it was hot. The presentation was great but not one dish was hot (we thought maybe they were waiting for something but no). We tried ordering a 2nd drink and they finally arrived with the check. We honestly didn't even get to order all that we wanted and sadly the check was more expensive than the very nice meal we had at the previous place. I did give it two stars (instead of 1) because the drinks were good and the food had potential

My husband and I just happened to be in the area and decided to have lunch here a couple weeks ago. I'm a little behind on posting my pictures but the review is still going to be great. Upon walking in we were seated right away, there were quite a few people there but there was still plenty of tables available for a Sunday afternoon. When the waitress seated does she also brought us a large glass bottle of water and two glasses. As you look around the restaurant you notice that there is a loft with more tables and chairs where people are enjoying their lunch. We got the perfect little table, caddy corner right in the corner of the room. It almost felt as if we were the only ones there. We were greeted right away by a waitress and somebody that she was training, both ladies were very sweet.

A lovely place where you can come with friends and family to get meal and drinks. They have a very nice selection of beer and spirits. They also have quite variety of food you can order. The staff here are very friendly. The atmosphere is very decorative especially for Christmas. Very nice place!!!

Had a reso, waited 30 to be sat. Was seated in a corner facing a brick wall while 99% of the rest of the tables showed all the decorations. Once tables cleared we asked if we could move our own things over as it was later in the evening and no one new was coming in. Server was not to happy but said sure and really didn’t talk to use for the rest of the night. Was out of the vegetarian tenderloin, the poke bowl was underwhelming, the feta app was $16 with apples & 3 pieces of break and the chicken for $30 while tasty, was not worth $30. Drinks average about $15 which is $$ for Peoria. It was decorated great however.
