Great place if you’re looking to escape “American” Chinese food. I had the frog legs, which were wonderful. Service wasn’t super great as they really only came over if you ordered via the website and never really came back to check on us. But the food was really good. I’ll be back for sure.
I only come here for the chicken gizzard with pickled cucumbers. I’ve had it maybe 7 times? And all five times, they tasted slightly different. Uncle in the back needs to standardize!
I live right next door to this place and have ordered take-out a few times, but last week we dined in the restaurant for the first time with a couple of friends and the experience was phenomenal! It felt like the entire staff was serving us with the utmost enthusiasm and care. We weren't sure what to order and they helped us pick out some delicious dishes. They even brought us some complimentary sweet teas during our meal which perfectly complimented the spicy and savory flavors of the food. Highly recommend! I can't wait to go back.
I recently visited Tian Fu Seattle, and while I had hoped for a satisfying meal, the experience fell short in several ways. The first thing that stood out was the self-service nature of the place. While that’s not inherently a problem, the server’s actions were odd. Despite the restaurant being practically empty during my visit, they seemed to do the bare minimum—dropping off food without much effort or engagement. As for the food, while the portions were impressively large, the flavor was severely lacking. Every bite felt bland, as though their focus was entirely on quantity rather than quality. If you’re someone who values taste and attention to detail, this might not be the place for you. Overall, Tian Fu Seattle may appeal to those who prioritize getting a lot of food for their money
We ordered Spicy boneless chicken, and the small dry pot spicy chicken wings with rice and two milk teas. We also added two extra portions of vegetables, but honestly, the cauliflower and other veggies that came with the dish were already enough. The flavor was great, the portion was generous, good price and worth it.
