Tift County Health Department

I went to receive my Covid Vaccine shot last Friday and the the staff there were excellent. Very professional, nice and sweet. They kept everything clean. I don't know if it's like that all the time but last Friday on Jan 8th you ladies rocked! Thank you!

I originally had a great experience with the Tifton Health Department. Very friendly staff and an informative appointment. I was scheduled to have an IUD, then they call me 20 minutes before my appointment (mind you I live 40 minutes away so I already am halfway there) and they tell me that I was scheduled under the wrong nurse and needed to be rescheduled for another day. I wouldn’t have been a big deal but when I originally made my appointment I made it clear to them that this was time sensitive and I needed it done before a certain date because I was leaving for college, 4 hours away. I think what makes me the angriest is that I was 20 minutes away and that’s when I received a call. Extremely upsetting. I got my vaccine today. I was very impressed with how organized they were. The receptionist was very helpful. The nurse was very kind and knowledgeable about the vaccination.

The lady that checks you in is very nice. She is courteous & professional. The nurse that gives the shots is very kind.
