Tijuana Flats

We ordered two smothered burritos. One would have been more than enough. This was our second visit, the first time we ordered the dos tacos combos. The food, and the service were excellent. I hope they have a store in Palm Coast!

So I ordered some nachos and they literally were just chips they did not put hardly any ground beef nor any type of Queso cheese on them whatsoever. I will never be going back to this location again. They are just taking people money and not giving quality food. I had to put it on a paper plate but still I could not find any ground beef even after doing that and that is sad.

First time trying Tijuana Flats. The food was very good. Blackened chicken chimichanga and classic chicken quesadilla were flavorful and tender. We got an appetizer of salsa, guac, and queso that came with barely any tortilla chips, which was disappointing. The biggest downside was the price and service. $44 for just two meals, dips, and sauces felt way too expensive. Pickup service also wasn’t great. The guy was rude as soon as I said my name for the order? Because I didn’t leave a tip on a pickup order? I have no idea. Overall, the food tasted great, but between the cost and service, not sure if we’ll return.

We had stopped going to this location a few months back due to declining quality. I stopped in tonight and see that decline has continued. When I went in I noticed it was 6pm and there were no customers. I should have turned around. Ordered two Dos Tacos, one of them Mega. Couldn't get any hot sauce, the pumps on the two I tried weren't working. Food came out fast. I thought that was encouraging until I got home. The blackened chicken was cold, and I mean refrigerator cold. One of the Mega tacos was completely empty on one side of the taco. Fool me twice, shame on me. :(

This place is pretty amazing. A buddy of mine thought it a good idea to eat here. He was right, I’m glad I did. They have quite a few options to choose from. If you’re super hungry, get the mega burrito. It’s big, but not too big. All of the ingredients were fresh and very tasty. I would LOVE to stop and eat here again.
