Tikka Shack Indian Grub

Order before sitting down is always a turn-off, but we wanted to give them a try. Service is minimal since it is all done at the counter. The atmosphere is very pleasant. It promotes friendliness. And it’s extremely clean. Now, let’s talk about the food. It is quite good, but the natural heat from Indian spices comes front and center. I had chicken kabobs while my partner had Biryani ricebowl with samosa vegetables. Both had basmati rice.

I have been to Tikka Shack before when I worked closer to the area. They have consistently delicious tikka masala and curry. This was the first time I tried their tandoori chicken pizza and masala fries, and I have to say they’re my new favorites! The masala fries were seriously addicting, even though I don’t usually enjoy loaded fries. Everything is so full of flavor.

Service was excellent n clean place but I don't know how they are making so many branches just feeding people with same gravy base of butter chicken

Tasty indian food with a Moe's/Chipotle atmosphere. The service is excellent, given that there are not really any waitstaff. You order at the counter and your food is brought to your table when ready, served in disposable plates. Fetch your own silverware, etc. Clean your own table. The portions, as is often the case at Indian restaurants, are not large and the pricing is typically not-very-low. Coupled with the general inflation of recent years, you might have a slight case of sticker shock. I ordered vindaloo, usually the most intense flavoring, but didn't specify a "heat" level. The first bite was tangy but by no means hot. I was acclimated by the second mouthful and the underlying flavors came thru. Tasty but not exceptional. The "Shack naan" was good. Grabbed a pizza and some curry chicken after playing 2 hours of pickup soccer. The food was delicious and fresh. We did takeout and it was ready exactly when it was supposed to be. I will definitely be back!
