Wow, a nice canto/HK style restaurant in Davis! They moved to this new location (previously village bakery) and I got to try it this week. Surprisingly delicious! I went to Tim's before they moved a few years ago and I didn't like it. But I feel like they are way better now. The steak and rice was super flavorful, and the price is quite good <$15. They also have a lot of to-go orders and they had a good number of people in during lunch. A personal favorite is the bittermelon and beef. It was perfectly well done, and that's not an easy dish to perfect! The interior is large and spacious and has nice decor. It's quiet and has nice modern feel to it. Its usually pretty empty so the service is very fast. The food is very good with amazing portions, and the price very very reasonable. I come back often

10/2024 Visited on a Friday night. Not busy. I ordered the Crispy pork belly rice plate 脆皮烧肉饭 and Green Bean with garlic sauce 蒜茸四季豆. It totaled to about $22. The food was better than average. The portions are sizeable; with the two dishes I ordered, it could easily feed two. The green beans with garlic sauce was pretty good. I can see why a restaurant like this would/is doing well in a college town like Davis. The service was direct and no nonsense. If you order a plate, it comes with a drink. They're happy to get you anything if you get their attention. The atmosphere is pretty standard for a Chinese restaurant; the decor is the same, they have a TV playing dramas, etc. The only thing I have to bring into question is their cleanliness. The silverware I had received was visibly dirty..

New menu, more options that include more Cantonese style dishes as well as the Hong Kong baked dishes. Most of the dishes come with a free soda or honey lemon tea. Greeted when walked in and was able to sit anywhere we like. The baked dishes are a classic Hong Kong style dish. Although it takes a bit of time, it has good portions and it is delicious. ($11.50 - $12.95) The appetizer is very reasonable priced, so you’re able to get a variety of things, from scallion pancakes to chicken wings to vegetables. The place is super spacious, it is clean. With their new updated menu, there are many options to satisfy everyone!
