Tina Restaurant

My husband and I stopped by this El Tina on a really cold day, looking for something warm and comforting, and the experience was mixed but overall pleasant. He ordered the sancocho and I had the mondongo. The service was a strong point. Our server, I believe her name was Elba, was polite, kind, and attentive, which always makes a difference, especially on a chilly day when you just want to sit and warm up. My husband really enjoyed his sancocho and appreciated that they don’t add carrots (or potatoes), which we personally don’t like in sancocho. That alone made his dish a win. My mondongo, on the other hand, was just okay. I would call it standard, but the flavor didn’t quite hit for me. This was my 1st-time eating Dominican food, my colleague invited me to experience the food here, it was so delicious and portion size was so huge I couldn't eat it all I had to take the rest of my food to go. It was so delish 😋🫶🏿

Paloma was my waitress and she was very attentive and nice. The food is delicious and they have great deals. I recommend if you're in the area.
