Wow! 3 generations forming exquisite taste and crunch and smoothness in their recipes make a unique culinary experience. I've seldom tasted simple chips (yes, the 'free' ones) so light and delicately crunchy. And this finesse carries over into the nachos and Honduran baleadas. And the salsas were truly unique, the meats flavorful and nicely prepared. And I seldom give all 5's. This place earns it!

Went early Saturday for brunch, starting off chips and the salsa were amazing, very unique salsa with a slight kick. Yuca con chicharron was a generous serving, birria tacos were bomb some of the best I’ve had in the dmv. Portions are generous and pricing isn’t bad at all. Steak and eggs ere simple, however the breakfast/ ranchero style version with the plaintains (not pictured) is definitely a slightly better version. Look foward to coming again.

I would go here because of food was good. After today’s visit I refuse to return. The way I was treated after spending $90+ 1. I left notes on my online order from their preferred & only site, Clover to not forget 2 specific items like avocado on the tacos and a jalapeño. It has happened before so I was trying to be cautious. At pick up, there was an argument claiming that they no longer provide avocado in any taco order. Even with receipts showing the website they continued to down talk to me. This was the cashier and even the manager continued her attitude. When I asked who the manager is she said, I and felt even more disrespected when she tried to baby talk me. Woooweee! This is by far is the BEST Mexican (Tex-Mex) restaurant I have been to, The portion size is absolutely ridiculous. Most often than not, me and my spouse research restaurants we go to, so rarely will I have a bad review. This restaurant was referred to me by a co-worker who lived in San Francisco for a good portion of his life and he did the research on this one. He did not steer me wrong. I wish it was closer! I was just passing through. I recommend if you are looking for some true comfort food. ...starting with the salsa and chips!

I got the tamal de gallina LOL never again it’s the size of my plastic fork it was out of the banana leaf as well so it was dry I’ve gotten this type of tamal at other restaurants and they are normally much wider
