Tobi's Poke & Shave Ice - Kihei

So stoked to swing by Tobi’s Kihei whenever I’m in South Maui. Super easy access at Kukui Mall, right near my favorite walks and surf spots, Kalama Park, The Cove, all of it. There’s nothing better than a fresh Tobi’s poke plate after a surf session. Always hits. Always satisfying. The local favorites never miss. Love seeing this new location open up and be there for the Grand Opening. South side just leveled up.

Poke was great! Comparable to some of the best poke on island. Kids got shave ice and did not enjoy, which was extremely surprising! They said the ice tasted of metal, maybe unfiltered? Service was lacking in kindness and patience. Located in Kukui Mall next to Starbucks. Old Stewz Burger spot. I’m hoping it’s juse grand opening kinks that need to be sorted out as we enjoy their original location in Pa’ia.

Wow, I am so super stoked being a resident of Kihei now for 27 years. We got such an awesome delicious place to get pokey and phenomenal plate lunches and then you can top it off with a shaved ice for dessert. Went there for the first time today, I got the tsunami pokey plate with a side of shoyu chicken!! Both were a solid 10 scrumdiddlicious is the word!! It’s right down the street from my place. I highly recommend I will be back probably a couple times a week. This will be a regular stop. Also, the owner and the customer service or nothing short of No Ka Oi.

Best shave ice on Maui!! We have to come here often when we visit. The texture of the ice is perfect and it has just the right amount of sweetness. It’s now available in Kīhei!!
