This place is great! I stopped by after the gym being super hungry, I wasn’t sure if the portions were going to be large enough… they were very generous portions. I ordered the teriyaki chicken, it was very tasty, the meat was juicy, the fried rice was super yummy, the veggies were super good too. Sergio, the manager offered top notch customer service and was very gracious and kind.

We decided to try this restaurant again since is under new ownership and we loved it!!! Food was hot and fresh. We recommend the chicken, steak and shrimp plate. All three meats in one order!!! Service also was good and food was absolutely delicious.

Recently changed ownership, and the food has been AMAZING. The staff currently consists of the owner and his family, and they are so hospitable and caring. I order the hibachi chicken every time, the rice is my favorite out of all places here and the chicken goes so well with the sauce. DON'T get me started on how good the sauce is here! 10/10, will continue to be a regular at this spot!

Tokyo’s Express is one of my go-to spots in Wilmington. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and comes out fast without feeling rushed. The hibachi is consistently good, portions are generous, and prices are fair for the quality you get. Staff is friendly and efficient, whether you’re dining in or grabbing takeout.
