Tokyo Express

Yesterday my family got takeout for dinner. We easily ordered online and went in for pickup. We were a little hesitant because of the reviews we have read, but my oldest son used to go here all the time after getting out of high school and he told me that they were good and he never had an issue. So after living in Cane Bay for six years, we decided to give it a shot and I’m glad we did. The food was delicious. I had the honey chicken and it was perfect in fact out of all the Chinese takeout I’ve had this was definitely my favorite honey chicken. My husband had the general tso and he loved it my 13-year-old had sweet-and-sour chicken and the only complaint was my 13 year-old who said the sweet-and-sour sauce didn’t taste the best so I don’t know if he’s just used to other takeout places

Noted Shrimp allergy. Got home to 3 egg rolls that had shrimp in them. Owner contact info nowhere to be found and this business is not listed on the BBB website. The manager offered a CREDIT FOR NEXT TIME and cannot refund. A credit fir next time??? So I can take those chances AGAIN?!?! GOOD LUCK !!!!

Don’t know what has happened to this place but sheesh what a disappointment. I spent $35 on 1 plate 4 wings egg rolls n Somme white sauce. Never have I ever not been able to eat food because it was so nasty. Well tonight changed that. Could not eat the wings or the eggrolls. Look at the skin on the chicken ughh

This place is fantastic. The food instantly reminded me of classic New York–style Chinese food—bold, comforting, and done right. Everything was explosively flavorful, and even after a 20-minute drive home, the food was still hot, which says a lot about the care they put into it. Ordering online in advance was super convenient and made the whole experience smooth and easy. If you’re craving legit Chinese food with big flavor and great execution, this spot absolutely delivers.

So I place an order at 10:18pm, they let me know they close at 10:30. I arrive at 10:25, lights are off and they’re close down. I called them back to confirm I placed an order . They say yea I did and read my phone number back to me. So I ask why are the lights off like yall close. He tell me hold on to call someone. I sat on hold and outside the place for 5 minutes. They could have just said we’re not taking anymore orders. Terrible!
