Tokyo Japanese Steakhouse

My Son and his Girlfriend surprise me for my Birthday and we went to Tokyo Japanese Steakhouse for dinner. Great atmosphere. Server started us off with soup, salad and then our drink orders. It serves delicious hibachi. Our Chef was Chris. He was so very nice and friendly, and he made sure that our orders were correct before he started cooking. The food was so fresh and so delicious. We all ordered different dishes. I definitely recommend this restaurant. It is down by the water, but since we came at night time, we really couldn’t see anything, but I will definitely be back in the daytime to enjoy the beautiful views.

We got in and were seated to wait...15 mins later I asked why we were waiting they said "oh your whole party has to be here before your seated" I was frustrated to say the least because I appreciate communication but the 15 min wait could've been avoided had someone said that. Once we were seated it took another 10 mins before our server came to check in with us. Outside of the long drawn out waits the food was amazing and the chef did his thing!!

I truly enjoyed my first time at Tokyo Japanese Steakhouse in Alexandria! It proved to be the perfect place to celebrate my birthday. I loved the vibrant atmosphere and the nice feel of being in a unique Japanese restaurant. The waitress was very professional and attentive to my group's needs, and we were seated in a timely fashion. I found that the meal was the greatest hibachi that I ever enjoyed. A truly top-rate meal and marvelous flavors packed into the fried rice, shrimp, chicken, and vegetables. My tastebuds were on Cloud Nine from the highly satisfying, super sensational meal. I also loved the authentic green tea, providing me with nice herbal qualities that brought out the many health benefits of the drink. We had a great time here with my family. The food was delicious, the staff were very friendly, and the place had a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Everything made our visit enjoyable. We’ll definitely come back again!
