Tokyo Joe's - Englewood

So, the food was just ok. Tokyo Joe’s is very expensive for the quality served. Potstickers tasted like they were previously frozen and were very small. The sushi roll was just under $12, which is an insanely high price for the quality and amount of fish in it. Not even Sushi Den is that expensive and it’s astronomically better. Poke bowl was good, but not great. Tons of rice and not a lot of fish. Had to pay extra for the tuna. Many many other poke places give you 3 proteins. I haven’t been to Tokyo Joes in many years, and I don’t care to go back. Everything in my picture equated to $40. Crazy..

From the moment you step through the door through the delivery of food the service provided at Englewood Tokyo Joe’s is impeccable. Z greets you with a welcoming smile to take your order, all the while answers ready to any questions concerning the many options accessible on the menu. The joyful journey through casual cuisine continues with Tollar behind the line preparing your sustenance with proper acumen achieving delicious results. All around a great experience. Worst Tokyo joes ever. I ordered a big bowl and they refused to give me enough sauce. No other joes does that what a joke. Two baby containers for an xtra large bowl

Ordered online for pickup. I showed up and the gentleman in line in front of me ordered and I checked in for my food and was told it's not ready yet. I wait patiently and about 7 people got their food in front of me. I had even left a tip for my pickup order as it was for myself and two coworkers. I didn't get my food till about 40 min after we ordered it as I got fed up with waiting patiently and asked again if my food was ready. It was. Probably had been for 15-20 minutes but nobody announced when it was done. I will never return to this location again even if the food was delicious. My coworkers meal was cold by the time I got back to work (7 min away by car). Fully disappointed with the the staff except for the cooks.

I love the Poké bowls at Tokyo Joe's. Always amazing. Not here. The Ahi tuna was extremely fishy. I asked if it was old and the girl tells me, nah it doesnt expire until tomorrow. Portions of everything in it were small. The added scoop of spicy tuna was 1/3 the size of any other Tokyo Joe's. I had a belly ache the rest of the night. We will not return to this location ever.
