Tolentino’s Taqueria

I was so glad I decided to stop here! The chicken tacos were fat and tasty! The people were very friendly, the place was nice and clean. The tacos were ready quick and everything was priced very afcordable here. I'm definitely coming back! Also I liked that the tacos came with limes, radishes, extra grilled onions, jalapeno and an oversized sturdy plate to hold the weight of those fat tacos.

Went to this place because we saw it was close to where we were going. So we decided to try it. Let me tell you. We are glad we did. It's a little mom and pop hole in the wall authentic Mexican place. The food was so good. I got the torta with asada. It was delicious and big portions. The bread could have been a little toastier but it was still good. My partner got the burrito with asada and she said she it was very good. Over all it was a good place to stop and eat. The prices and atmosphere were great too. Definitely will be going back to try new things.

Long time MH resident and big fan of Super Taqueria, but this place is legit and rivals Super Taqueria. The quesabirria is phenomenal! That sauce that comes with it??? Next level good. Tacos are legit. Burritos are legit. Quesadillas and the fish tacos are legit. Everything we’ve bought from Tolentino’s has been either very good or great, and the salsa doesn’t exercise demons from your soul like Super Taq’s salsa. It’s not a sit-in family dine restaurant. I mean, it’s in the old Dari Queen. The prices are very reasonable. For $20 you can leave full for the day. They do Mexican food and their menu really well and I highly recommend. Again, get the Quesabirria. You won’t be disappointed. Highly recommend.

I got the quesabirria and they delicious. With the red sauce it was just the right amount and spice and flavor. The price was very reasonable for the amount of food and quality so it was good value. Also, the food was ready quickly. Would get again!

This place is not going to last long here…..Young girl taking orders, was a little clueless on trying to edit my burrito without rice or sour cream . Ordered 5 different things and they gave me 2 mini salsa containers. Even the salsa was very bland tasting. Tacos were very, very tasteless…..No flavor at all. Corn tortillas seemed steamed. Meat not seasoned. No salsa or onion on top of tacos. But, a little too much cilantro. So basically, it was just flavorless meat and a bunch of cilantro on a steamed corn tortilla. Not a wide selection of menu items either. I will not be eating there again. Best bet is Super Taqueria, or Tacos Ameca …..Wide selection of items, very flavorful food and bigger containers of salsa.
