Tommy Bahama Restaurant & Bar

This was our second time visiting, and overall we really enjoy the atmosphere and service. However, we were pretty disappointed in the Valentine’s Day surf & turf (especially when it cost $73 - we’d expect it to be pretty spot on). The lobster was very dry and rubbery, and the steak had an odd aftertaste, which was surprising because the steak was excellent the first time we came. That said, the sides and drinks were fantastic. The asparagus and mashed potatoes were delicious, and the drinks were spot on. The absolute standout was the lump blue crab bisque—it was phenomenal. Honestly, I loved it so much I could’ve eaten multiple bowls. We’ll definitely be back and hope this was just an off night for the main entrée.

This exquisite restaurant suits the perfect and sophisticated style dinner. My family and I enjoyed a delicious meal as well a a delectable dessert. The staff was welcoming, friendly and attentive and the place was really nice and clean. Definitely a must stop when visiting The Woodlands.

Great food and service! Our server, young lady, was very attentive and focused on pleasing customers. We were on the covered patio Friday night and everything was perfect!

Our party of four recently dined at Tommy Bahama Restaurant in The Woodlands, and the entire experience was outstanding from start to finish. We began with two appetizers — the goat cheese dip and the chips served with guacamole and salsa — and both were absolutely delicious. The flavors were fresh, well-balanced, and the perfect way to start the meal while we relaxed and enjoyed the atmosphere. For our entrées, we sampled a variety of dishes including the Chilean sea bass, lump blue crab cakes, filet mignon salad, and baby back pork ribs. Every single plate was impressive. The seafood was perfectly prepared, the ribs were tender and flavorful, and the filet mignon salad was both hearty and refreshing. My mother who has issues in lower lighting tripped on the steps at the back entrance, which the server who assisted us described as "sort of hidden." They brought her a hot towel to wrap around her wrist but it may need to be looked at later. The front entrance steps have a middle hand rail but the back steps do not, please consider fixing this. Sometime after 7pm Dec 21st. Food was good, seating was nice.
