TOM's Famous Family Restaurant 22

First time at Tom's for breakfast. Prices are very reasonable which is a plus. However, my food being served by a rolling robot is not good customer service at dine in.. This robot should be always be looking clean (frame wise) which was not. I don't want my food served by a dirty robot. My order was delivered incomplete. I was forced to ask a human server for utensils and for my toast. My hashbrowns were somewhat raw, i could taste it. Ugh!! Very disappointed.

Classic diner vibes with a cat robot serving orders. The restaurant was pretty clean and tidy. The food is freshly cooked once you order, and the robot delivers it to your table. The portions are pretty big. Everything was very tasty!

I had no expectations for this place other than hoping it was open. I came here the day after Christmas and before coming here I had tried a few places that were closed. The French toast was really really good, they also had one of those robots send out the food which was funny to watch. It was good dinner food, and I would come back for lunch to try other items on the menu.

Tom's Famous has been one of my favorites going away back to when I was attending Palomar College. Even after all these years, it's still just as good as I remember! Perfect for someone looking for a fast yet delicious lunch, or in need of a breakfast! My personal recommendation is trying the zucchini fries! Oh, and the cobb salad is big enough for two people! Absolutely delicious. Staff are always friendly and patient! Food is always hot and fresh. What's not to love?

Cat serving robots and delicious burgers! This was our first time and it was definitely a place we'd return to. Only negative was it is a little pricey for a burger/fries/drink combo ($15-17). For positives- the portions were generous! My burger had over a half an avocado and 3or4 huge strips of bacon and was absolutely delicious. My husband prefers slightly crispier or thicker fries, but myself and our kids thought they were great and I especially enjoyed the seasoning on them. And they have a cat robot!!!! I mean, way to impress my kids because that was so fun to watch and listen to. I can't wait to eat there again.
