Tony's Pizza Hickory

Okay so I asked my son where he wanted to eat and he picked Tony's. I'm not a huge fan of pizza in general but we went. 1st let me say these slices of pizza are huge. And for 4.50 it's a steal. He ordered 2 slices of pizza. Mostly because when he did he only wanted one I gave him a hard time. I've seen the boy eat entire frozen pizzas himself and thought, there's no way one slice is enough. But they are that big. I ordered a Philly and the Greek salad. Both were good. The salad had a touch too much feta but it was still good. And again, a good deal for the money. I'm sure we will be back. Go for the pizza!

NY Style Pizza that can be ordered as a whole pie or by the slice. Slices were large and very good. I also got an order of garlic knots and they were quite good. I will certainly come back on my visit to the area.

I ordered a pepperoni Parm sub last week and I just want you to see how I make it because the way you make it is basically just a sandwich I mean no offense by that but I think you would sell a lot of them if you made it like this load the inside of the bread with pepperoni so it doesn’t get soggy when you pour the sauce and the mozzarella cheese in it wrap it in foil, put it in the oven

Went in and was one of the first customers. Several people got their orders and we didn’t. So asked about our order and they said it was going to be another 15 mins. We got a refund and left after waiting 30 mins and several orders got theirs before us and we just had a pepperoni pizza. I’ve had some decent experiences here before but will not be back after this one.

Tony's Pizza in Hickory never disappoints! Their NY-style pizza is always great, with a classic thin crust, big flavor, and the price is a steal deal. You can tell they make their own pizza sauce from fresh tomatoes and high quality herbs. The pepperoni calzone is one of my favorites as its packed with pepperoni. The Greek salad is another great option and is always fresh and crunchy. The atmosphere is lively and warm, making it a good spot for kids or a quick meal. Everything comes out hot and fresh every time. Easily one of our go-to spots in Hickory. They also offer curbside pick up which I greatly appreciate with little kids!
