This was our first time at TooJay’s and we’ll definitely be back! The menu was extensive, the food was delicious, and I really had a hard time picking a meal because everything looked amazing. I ended up ordering the Reuben and it was huge, which meant I got to eat the other half the next day. We also got the pastrami obeyed and it was fantastic, too. Sides were French fries and coleslaw, both hot and cold respectively. Loved the pickle with the sandwich. Just Go! You won’t be disappointed.

We walked in on a Saturday night at 8:35pm, not realizing they close at 9pm. Many places would make you feel unwelcome so close to closing time, but not here. Richie is a customer service superstar who not only went out of his way to make us feel welcome at the late hour, he made everything perfect. My husband wanted coffee, Richie made a new pot. He made suggestions and never rushed us. The portions were very generous, several of us went home with boxes. Not one complaint, everything was prepared perfectly. We were offered refills and never rushed. Richie makes you feel like family and a regular at a family run restaurant rather than a chain. He's a gem and I would return just for him.

I’ve been coming here for years. After moving away for college, Toojays chocolate layer cake is the one thing I always look forward to when I visit. As I always do, I came back, excited, to have my usual chicken noodle soup and slice of chocolate layer cake. The chocolate layer cake is a completely different cake than it used to be. It’s lighter, has almost no flavor, and has completely different chocolate mousse filling and icing than it used to. I was extremely disappointed and can’t say I’ll be rushing to come back. My family has been coming less and less because the food and service has gotten worse and the prices have increased significantly, and they really only go when I’m in town but it’s looking like that might not be the case anymore.

Toojays Coral Springs location has screwed up my last two orders-will Not be patroning you again. Yesterday 11/26/25 around 4pm I order a Reuben sandwhich with extra dressing on the side and carrot cake (My Moms favorite) The girl with blue/black hair behind counter is yammering with some lady on the phone and didn't know how to get rid of her so she could take care of the customer in front of her! It wasn't even busy. This order was for my Mom in the hospital for 3 weeks whom I told I would bring her a Reuben and carrot cake. I get to the hospital and there's No extra sauce, no pickle, no Utensils, no ketchup. How am I supposed to feed my mom fries with no ketchup, sandwich she couldn't eat because I had no utensils to cut small pieces for her and she LOVES pickles. This is the worst exc

Coral Springs, FL. This TooJay’s is smaller than our favorite TooJay’s in Plantation, but the Coral Springs location has a new attraction: Richie. Richie was our server. At first, he looked like any other nice server, until we’d been there five minutes. It became clear Richie knew everyone else who came in by name. His New York accent came out. He took care of everybody. Especially when the gentleman in the booth behind ours knocked over his water. Richie was full of jokes, reassurances and helpfulness. I only remember his name because when it was time to pay, our server said, “No problem. You just pay Richie.” Then we saw later his name on the receipt was Richard. His New York accent made my pastrami on rye taste better. Excellent matzo ball soup, as always. Steve got the country frie
