Top of the Bay

Definitely my favorite restaurant to come to on Fire Island. Great service and amazing food.

Environment and staff maintained a fantastic vibe mixed with upscale and yet still friendly. Got the bone in steak with the lobster Mac and cheese and a bottle of rose. Bar tender Robbie was an awesome bar tender with great recommendations and conversations as well.

Excellent sunset views over the water! Some of the best short ribs I’ve ever had. Very friendly staff.

Wow, wow, wow! The entire experience was spectacular! We got to see a gorgeous sunset over the bay right from our table. Our drinks (Blue Cheese Martini and Spicy Mezcal Margarita) were fantastic..not too salty, not too sweet, just right! The service was impeccable. Our server, Regis, and the host, Ron, were super amicable, pleasant and accommodating. For apps, we ordered the Ceviche special, the margarita flatbread, and the Mussels Marine…all I can say is WOW!! Sooo good!! So good that we wanted to take the mussels broth and the ceviche marinade home with us. For entrees, we had the braised short ribs (delicious in a Cabernet reduction), the branzino (so fresh with a light, crispy top) and another round of the ceviche special. We had the most delicious meal in Top Of The Bay. We did have a reservation and were seated right away. The view was spectacular our drinks were amazing. Our dinner was excellent. Ron and the staff were delightful. In my opinion the best food on Fire Island. We will be back for sure.
