If you haven’t gone here and you live nearby, what are you doing? Amazing how good the vibes are for a counter service place- go here for dinner with your friends! Go on a date! Really just absolutely exceptional food, service, and atmosphere. The asada huarache had a thick made-in-house corn tortilla with grilled nopale (cactus) and a big whole piece of asada (steak)- nice hearty food on a cold day. Speaking of, the little hint of cinnamon in the atole de elote, a hot corn drink with milk kind of like hot chocolate if it were corn instead, was so cozy and I was delighted to find a cinnamon stick and corn pieces in the bottom of the cup. I will be back for those soups. And again in the summer. Excellent.

The food here is absolutely delicious! We tried the Pozole and Sopa de Pollo, and both were incredible. The flavors were rich, perfectly seasoned, and served hot and fresh. You can tell the ingredients are high quality and prepared with care. The service was warm and welcoming, with the staff making sure we felt right at home. Everything came out quickly, and the team was attentive without being intrusive. The atmosphere is relaxed and authentic, making it a great spot to enjoy traditional Mexican comfort food. We’ve also been to their other location on Columbia Pike, and the quality is consistently excellent at both. Highly recommend if you’re craving real Mexican flavors done right! 🌮

Our favorite tacos spot. Amazing tacos and opens really late (2AM) so it’s great for late night cravings. I always get the crispy birria and the lengua…so good.

This place is amazing! I ordered the Torta Cubana and it was absolutely the bomb—packed with flavor, perfectly grilled, and super satisfying. We came as a group of 11 people, and the staff handled everything smoothly. The service was quick and friendly, and the place had a great vibe—clean, welcoming, and just the right kind of cozy. Everyone in our group loved their food. You can really taste the authenticity in every bite. If you’re looking for real Mexican food in Arlington, Tortas Y Tacos La Chiquita III is a must-visit. Can’t wait to come back!

Incredible Mexican food in Ballston! We had the crispy birria tacos, the carnitas tacos, a chicken quesadilla, and chips and guacamole. All were delicious with the crispy birria being a special standout. Great selection of soft drinks and friendly service. We will be back!
