Tortilleria La Familia

This is my new go-to for homemade tortillas. Well worth the 20 minute drive from Phoenixville. Reasonably priced, in and out, SO much better than anything store bought. Gluten free and with these, you take your Mexican meal to the next level versus corn tortillas from grocery store. Also, high quality and friendly service. Cash only but well worth trip for anyone even remotely close.

Thie place is epic. Tiny hole in the wall. 1 table to eat your to go tacos at. No menu. They make the tortillas while you are there and you get the tacos they have. Al Pastor or Carnitas I think. You eat in the aisle. Get fresh tortillas to go. Fresh tortillas are so much better than the ones you've had at restaurants or grocery stores

The best tortillas in the area. Worth the drive. Such a wonderful and friendly staff.

If you want fresh homemade tortillas this is the place to go. If you have never had fresh tortillas, not the ones in the grocery store made a week ago with preservatives to extend shelf life, but real fresh tortillas made daily this is the place to go. If you time it right you might get tortillas still hot. They also have table seating and make really good al pastor tacos!

My review is based on an incident related to their dry products. They must not practice propper food safety because I picked up some dried chipotle peppers here and they turned out to be infested with spice beatles! By the time I realized, the pests had eaten all of the peppers, through the bag, and ruined 5+ other jars of spices. Don't shop here unless you want to replace all of your spice cabinet!
