Town Bar + Kitchen

This was the next restaurant up for the Scary Good Eats 2026 Tour. The place itself is really cool with two levels and two bars. Parking can be an issue, you just have to get lucky, which we were because we went early for a Saturday night dinner. The place is not cheap and the food add up, but the definitely deliver on the presentation and the quality of the food. I was not able to change anything with my Burger order, you cannot swap out the witch Swiss cheese which was very powerful and it took away from the burger itself. The bread and butter for a quick appetizer was excellent. Overall a goof experience and would go back.

We had our wedding rehearsal dinner and a small welcome cocktail party for our wedding guests at Town Bar and Kitchen. The food, drinks, and service were all superb and we could not have been happier with how the evening went. They were also very accommodating for our guests with dietary restrictions. The atmosphere of the space along with the quality of the food and service made it such a special event.

At the start of our service, there weren’t a lot of people but it became very busy by the time we had our main course. Their food is outstanding but they were a little understaffed tonight. If you want great food you have to come here! Make sure you have an earlier reservation if you want a more quiet night.

Town Bar + Kitchen isn’t just another modern American spot it’s the kind of place where real technique, hospitality, and local sourcing all actually mean something. I’ve eaten here before and loved it, but tonight I was lucky enough to sit in on a chef’s tasting with Executive Chef Jeffrey Marfil and it took things to another level. First off, the vibe: clean, modern, welcoming. It’s upscale without being stiff. Service is tight. And if you’re lucky enough to sit at the bar, make sure Brian’s working. The man knows his way around a cocktail creative, balanced, and always dialed in to the meal. Drinks here don’t play backup they elevate the experience. As for the food, while the tasting menu changes, the quality does not. What stands out most is the attention to detail and the commitment

Stopped by after an event in Morristown and had a great experience! The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, which made for a very pleasant visit. We sat at the bar and tried the tuna tartare and the meat & cheese plate. The tuna was delicious though there was something soft underneath that I wasn’t a fan of it wasn’t quite my taste, but that’s just a personal preference. The cheese board, was a great choice! It had a great variety, and the cheeses were really flavorful, perfect for sharing. The atmosphere was also a cozy, cute, and inviting. I’ll definitely be back to try more dishes. Highly recommend it!
