Trenton Free Public Library

My experiences at the Trenton Free Public Library have pushed me past the point of frustration and straight into outrage. Every interaction I've had there feels like a deliberate attempt to undermine me, dismiss me, or make me feel like I don't belong. I cannot ignore the pattern anymore - from my perspective, certain staff members behave as if their job is to police me rather than serve the public. The attitude I get from this place is downright hostile. I'm treated with an edge, a glare, or a tone that sends one message loud and clear: "We don't want you here." Walking into this library feels less like entering a community resource and more like stepping into a space where I'm pre-judged, monitored, and treated as if I'm some kind of inconvenience the moment I show up. There are like 18 buttons on the elevator but there’s only two floors? I am so confused.

Needed to fax some stuff today 🤯. I am so grateful for the helpful staff who walked me through the process! It was way cheaper than I expected, too, which is a huge win.
