Tres Hermanas Davis

I sat outside by the bushes. It was hot Saturday 2/28. Omg I smelled urine from the bushes. It was horrible. Do not sit outside by the bushes when it’s hot outside. My food was good but it was too spicy. I enjoyed their chips and salsa. Their salsa is top notch.

The chips are crunchy and the verde sauce has some good kick. The enchilada and tamale are nothing to write home about, they’re average. The salad is refreshing but small. It depends on your dinner choices but for us our meal was very meat, beans, and grease heavy so I was craving more vegetables. The birria tacos were really tasty, the meat was cooked perfectly tender, the taco shells are crispy, yet the food is too rich that I longed for more greens or veggies aside from a scoop of lettuce on my plate or the small salad to cut the grease. Indoors was very noisy so we sat outside and aside from all the car noises we were fine ear-wise. On the other hand, sitting outside means you can get unlucky with the servers and not see one for a while if you need something.

Today I was a great day for Mexican food here in Davis The food was delicious and flavorful. With very big portions. But the local Davis beer was so-so it had a full apple flavor which wasn't quite so good. Also if you're here you can just sit a listen to all the juicy college drama they are saying lol. Will come again

This place is a home away from home. Un huarique de amistad, comida sabrosa, y tragos de otro nivel! All different folx are welcomed and become friends at this bar. I cannot say enough about how Reyna and Sergio make this a safe and cozy family meal. I love it here. Check out this cocido como en casa tan ricooo!

Perfect spring day for lunch on their lovely patio. Had pastor tacos with lentil soup and both were tasty. Good margaritas as well 😄
