Trio Coffee House

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED.. I was thrilled to try their new Trio’s Valentine’s Day flight, but unfortunately, I received this disappointing experience. It doesn’t resemble what they advertised at all. This isn’t my first time having a terrible time at Trio’s, but I had hoped to give them another chance. However, I was once again let down. Their drinks were extremely sweet and didn’t taste any coffee. 😭 The service was incredibly slow. I couldn’t comprehend how I managed to order this flight and then four other people arrived and received their drinks before me.

First time trying Trio Coffee House. This was recommended by the staff at the nearby hospital. It's a very small, unique coffee house. The inside seating is limited to approximately twenty. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly service. I ended on getting their drip coffee, which was medium roast. Their coffee is so smooth and robust. Absolutely delicious. I also ordered one cinnamon roll and a chocolate croissant. Great cinnamon roll with delicious icing. The croissant was so so but also fair. Hi would highly recommend that you try this epic coffee house.

I'm going to be honest. I went there for the first time a week ago. I tried the cold brew cookie crunch and the coffee was very sour. I couldn't drink it. I asked for a cheese Danish warmed up and it was warmed up in a microwave which made it too hot and soggy. So I was a little disappointed. I gave it a second try today and tried the Pumpkin Horchata and it was delicious. I'll be going back for that and getting a large one next time. Hehe. The service can be improved. No complaints, I just think they can be a little more energetic and nice.

The coffee is decent, but the pastries are sad 😔, atmosphere could use some juj. Gave it three stars tho cuz the coffee is good *enough* that I came back, and because today the cashier greeted me with a smile and friendly energy. Please upgrade your pastry game, even if it’s the only game in town, I had a bite of a danish and it tasted soggy like it was microwaved. Somewhere there’s a French person slowly dying a second time in their grave.

This was one of the most disappointing coffee shop visits I’ve had in a long time. From the moment we walked in, it didn’t feel welcoming. The “welcome in” from staff was so dry it seemed like they didn’t even want to be there. The environment itself felt cramped and uncomfortable, which didn’t help the first impression. What really concerned me was the lack of an LA County Health Letter Grade anywhere in sight. That’s usually one of the first things I look for, and not seeing it makes me question the cleanliness of the entire operation. On top of that, the ice machine was wide open with obvious calcium build-up inside, and the espresso bar area looked unkempt with coffee grounds scattered all over. None of that gave me confidence in how this shop is run. Service didn’t make things bette
