My friends and I wanted to try Africa food for the first time. We tried the fufu and Egusi soup. I was good! But what was so delicious in my opinion was the Joloff Rice with chicken. It was to die for. Not to mention the greens and fried plantains. The owner was super friendly. I will definitely return!
Nice guy who served us. Clean and nice seating. Food was not very good. Very oily and way over priced. $60 for 4 chicken legs. Place was empty. I feel horrible because this is a family owned business. Won't be coming back again.
Been wanting to try the restaurant ever since it opened and I finally got a chance😍! I ordered Pounded Yam with Egusi Soup and Goat Meat. When the food arrived I was thinking to ask for larger portion size, but after finishing was very glad I didn't. The pounded yam fills you up so much. My only thing I didn't like was that it was so hot inside; cool air would of been so welcoming. Nevertheless, I'll be coming back😁! Highly recommend
$56 for two plates of Jollof and fufu is wild! I feel like I'm being priced out of my own ancestors' cuisine. 😔 That said, the veggie plate I had here previously was amazing. I realized later I forgot to order the palm juice, it's a reminder of the complex history of palm oil and its role in the exploitation of African nations.
So good couldn’t get a picture before I ate it. Was my first time trying goat meat they didn’t disappoint. If you’re thinking about going, GO!
