Trompudo’s Tacos

Can't wait for it to officially open its doors so I can come back with my family to dine in. It is drive-thru only at the moment. We had some al pastor tacos with the pineapple salsa, which were delicious, and one of our little ones had chorizo tacos, which were a bit greasy, but they loved them. I will take pictures next time. 🌮🍍😋

Writing a review since they have no contact information and I messaged both IG & FB with no response. My husband went to buy food yesterday at 6:59PM he ordered a burrito, torta, 1 taco, 1 small rice and 1 small elote. He was charged $39 dollars.. I added up the prices on your menu and they add up to $28 something. He didn’t sign for a tip or anything. He was overcharged or a tip was added without his consent. And I need to know why or I will be making a public post on FB as well. I heard back from the owner. He basically said staff tipped themselves. Through the drive through.. we don’t mind tipping but to add a tip on your own is pretty illegal if you ask me. Poor management.. we will not be back although that is our favorite pastor meat place. The Al pastor tacos were delicious. Most everything else was a range of good and okay. While the place is small, it does a good job of managing space, and it is spectacularly clean as compared to other taco shops. Decorations add to the atmosphere. I strongly recommend if you want a good Al pastor taco, especially on Tuesday with their taco Tuesday deal.

The tacos Al pastor with cheese is delicious! The meat is flavorful. The pineapple elevates it. The food is fresh and tasty. They have a variety of sauces as well. You order and pay first and then the bring the food to you. It’s clean and fast.

We tried a little bit of everything... The food was good and the service was just okay. The menu is basic and doesn't have a lot of options. One option they don't have at all is chicken. We were the only ones eating inside at the time and the tables were filthy and flies were a nuisance. The food came to the table lukewarm at best. It's nice that they have 6 house sauces on the table. It has a ton of character with all of the colorful decor. The tacos were okay, not the best. The star was the quesidilla for sure!!! This was our first time trying it and maybe next time We'll have a better experience. Happiest feasting, Everyone!!!
