Cabbage wasn't cooked all the way, but everything else was great

Neighborhood native here — and this place is dirty. I’m talking DUTTY. I would never eat here again. The issue isn’t even the customer service — it’s the food they’re serving. I got food poisoning from this place and I will never step foot in there again. From the looks of other reviews, I’m clearly not the only one. This spot seriously needs to be checked out by a food inspector. “Mi cyan manage the dirty food dem a serve. Mi nearly mess up miself—Lawd, save mi!”

I've been going to this location since 2005 the thing that I enjoy the most is your jerk pork only because it is done on a grille, not every jamaican restaurant jerk the a pork on a grille or the chicken. It's oven made, but dislocation. Does it all? I live in a different county and I will make the travel to come here to purchase my food, not any other one. This location in you in India. I have a lot of mix feelings about the place I remember once I had to speak to management about his employees and how they treat the customer. But that's not the point. My husband ordered chicken with rice & peas. As he was eating, he discovered pieces of metal in his rice. Very unacceptable. If he wasn’t careful enough, he could’ve choked… That’s a safety concern. He did enjoy his first couple of bites, but please, for future references, do better with preparations.

I've been a regular at this spot since 2021, but the food quality can be inconsistent—it really depends on who's cooking. Some days it's great, other days not so much. Over time, I've become familiar with some of the staff, but recently things have taken a turn. Normally, I only order meals, but a while back I tried veggie patty. The bag it came in had a strange odor, like roaches, so I discarded it. Months later, I bought another veggie patty with coco bread during my lunch break, and once again, the bag had the same foul smell. I brought it to the cashier attention (I don’t know her name, but she wears glasses), and instead of apologizing, she cursed at me and told me not to come back.
