Tropical Smoothie Cafe

Açaí bowls are supposed to be blended and smooth, I believe they pre make these and freeze the base so it was really hard to eat, I had to let it thaw before eating and then my toppings weren’t very cold. For $10 I would’ve expected better. I prefer hippie bowls food truck, better quality in my opinion especially for the price.

Honestly one of my favorite places to eat. I just have one concern. If they only fill the bowls barely to the rim then why is it a bubble cup?

The customer service and environment are both wonderful with reasonable prices and fast service, but the main reason why this place deserves 5 stars is because of the menu. The smoothies have always been fantastic and the food has gotten much better. They just introduced smoothie bowls and they taste so good! My favorite is the acai bowl with peanut butter.

I got an acai bowl for my wife this evening, and when she received it the acai base was frozen solid. I returned to the store, and the manager and staff told me that all the bowls are pre-made and to "wait 5 minutes" and try to eat it then. There was no offer to replace the unsatisfactory bowl with something she would like better. After several minutes, the base began to thaw, but it turned to icy chunks. There was no smooth texture as the name would suggest. The bowl was awful, and she could not eat it. Don't get this overpriced and underwhelming bowl.

Usually great but not today! Between the pubic hair and the red cotton string and the little bits of rock this was the worst thing I’ve ever received. Seems like the driver (hoping it did not leave the restaurant this way) just scooped it up off of their car mat after they dropped it. This was one of these drinks the others were fine.
