Tropical Smoothie Cafe

The dragonfruit bowl is (or was) my favorite. I purchase it at least once a week. The last two times I ordered it the base was frozen solid. I spoke with someone about it and she told me this is how they are served and there is nothing they can do about it. But she also told me that she is a new employee. This is NOT how they were served in the past because it can't be eaten that way. I would not pay almost $12 for something I cannot eat. AND to make things worse, she had an attitude and was very rude. If I purchase this again, it will definitely not be at the location on Frederica St.

This location constantly adds things in my chia oatmeal pudding. If I order in the evening they always put coconut (hate), almonds or cacao nibs. I want what I order each time to be correct.... Also many times I have seen the employees not wear gloves when preparing my food. Or they will wipe sweat off their face and continue to fix my food 🤢.. This location needs to step it up.

This is solely based on my visit this evening. It is quite different than coming during the day. Tonight I ordered the Chicken Bacon Ranch flatbread (see photo below and count the pieces of chicken) there were only THREE chunks of chicken and it was cold. I did not get a pic of my daughter's order but she ordered the Buffalo Chicken wrap with no tomato when she opened it it was as thin as a breakfast burrito from McDonald's. The girl that took our order seemed put out that we were even there after acknowledging us at the counter 4 minutes after we stood there. It took them 25 minutes to bring our food to the table and they weren't even busy. Great smoothies and a pretty solid selection of quick eats. I ordered the Watermellon Mojito and am loving every sip! Tons of healthy smoothies: protein, coffee, fruit only, you name it. Give it a try!

Smoothie Heaven. Island Green / Sunset something. Update 6/29/22: Sunrise Sunset us perfect I also got thr Buffalo chicken wrapped and it was juicy, vegetables fresh, and added that extra crunch of good ole perfectly ripe veggies. Always great customer service, fun, enjoyable work crew.
