This parking lot comes with a nice cold blue lake with trout. I guess that is stating the obvious, since there are several varieties of trout inhabiting this lake. The view of the surrounding mountains is indescribably beautiful.
Beautiful location and easy drive. There is free parking and public toilets as well . One can easily enjoy amidst the serenity of lake .
Loved watching the ducks in early morning. It did take longer than usual waiting for sun rise due to the high mountains but so lovely having entire place to myself.
Great place very convenient off the road, but restrooms is a challenge to try them. The view from the lake is breath taking.
October is my favorite time of the year to visit Colorado. High-Altitude lakes are quite different from what we have in Arkansas. Quite Beautiful.
