I did a Grubhub order so I can't comment on the service or atmosphere, but the food was awesome! Delicious AND large portions (I'm 6 feet, 2 inches and eat like a horse...). I was so full from my entree, salad, and soup that I had to save my dessert for another time (today). It was also great!
It's been years since I've been back here. I was craving Greek and they didn't disappoint. Service was friendly. Place was clean. Atmosphere was nice. I ordered the gyro + 1/4 chicken which included rice, carrots and pita bread. Not to mention it came with either soup or salad and I went for the soup called Avgolemono aka "Greek Lemon Chicken Soup" all for $17.95. Delicious!! I will definitely return because I want to try their Sunday Brunch for $22.00 for all you can eat!
Whenever I settle into a new town, one of the first things I look for is a reliable spot for a really good bowl of soup, and this place was exactly that. The avgolemono soup was excellent, comforting, and full of flavor. I also tried some of the food, and everything I had was just as good. I want to especially mention the hostess at the front; she was incredibly accommodating. I initially planned on getting my soup to go, but decided last minute to sit down and enjoy it in house. She was so kind, understanding, and made the transition seamless. I’ll definitely be back and will be recommending this spot to friends as well.
We had a coupon from Troy's as a birthday for $10 off $40. We're long time customers of Troy's. Have always enjoyed their food. This time we weren't as pleased however. Actually it was me who was only mostly pleased. My beef kebabs were way over done. One was burnt but I didn't notice it until I already eaten the half that wasn't burnt. My husband didn't really like what he ordered. It was ground beef in filo dough covered in bechemel sauce. He was disappointed and probably won't order that again. The rice was good, the roasted carrots were excellent. Very thinly sliced. We ordered our favorite appetizer of falafels. We had an order of four falafels that were accompanied with sliced tomatoes and cucumbers. That was great. Will we go back? Of course.
The food here is amazing! Stopped in from the nearby hospital to find this gem. Sweet staff, quick service, large menu selections, and lunch specials. Large portion sizes. I will come back again for sure when I am in the area.
