Tulum Mexican Cuisine (Somerville)

Food were delicious. I cannnot say they were exceptional but I was satisfied. Out of all I tasted, Alambres was the best for both the taste and price. The portion was great and the meat quality was good. Overall prices were a bit high. Place was dark and makes the experience a bit gloomy. I would come back for Alambres but would not make it a habit because of the atmosphere and the prices.

Had an amazing time. Good reminded me of the Mexican food I had growing up in California. The mezcal old fashion was the best and the sneaky pineapple was very good too. We ordered chorizo guac, pozole, and the cohinita and polpo tacos. The polpo was amazing! And the pozole was so good too. For a smaller meal I’d come back for the pozole. Can’t wait to keep coming here and trying all the food!

The food was phenomenal we ordered just about every appetizer and dessert, and absolutely loved everything. From what I could tell, all of the items we reviewed were naturally gluten free. While it isn’t specified on the menu, it appeared that the offerings may be entirely gluten free, which was a pleasant surprise. The space itself is quite small, so it didn’t feel ideal for a larger group. Our party of five (two adults and three kids) definitely felt a bit crowded, and for the same reason it’s probably not the most child friendly spot. That said, the décor is beautiful, the staff was very friendly, and the overall vibe was lovely. My husband and I definitely plan on going back for a date night to try some of the main courses

This is an unusual little gem in Somerville. I haven't been intrigued by the painting outside since before they opened but just got around to making a reservation. I thought it was very small inside but I didn't know that there are tables upstairs. The decor is thoughtful, fun and relevant. Cool ambiance. We started with drinks and mine made me fall in love with toasted coconut. It was rich and delicious. For dinner, we started with guacamole (delish) and continued with shrimp enchiladas and steak tacos (all with much more appealing names!). The food was fresh and authentic, the atmosphere intriguing, and we walked away grateful to have this restaurant in our neighborhood. Try it!

One of the best Mexican restaurants I've been to. The atmosphere is good vibes with amazing music and amazing service everyone was so nice. The drinks are very very good and the food was SO good, I did a happy dance many times during my meal lol. My partner and I will 100% be back. 11/10
