Tulum Modern Mexican

It was incredibly busy so I understand our sever being in the weeds. However drinks not coming in 30 min is unacceptable. It was loud but you could still talk. The food was quite good. Even the sushi was good. The drinks were great but the wait for them strained the experience.

The experience at Tulum in Glendale truly lived up to its name. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere had that vibrant, upscale Mexican vibe that immediately makes you feel like you’ve stepped somewhere special. The décor, lighting, and music create a fun yet relaxed setting that feels very much inspired by the Tulum aesthetic. The food was excellent—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every dish we tried had bold, authentic flavors and clearly used high-quality ingredients. You can tell a lot of attention goes into both the taste and the presentation. The service was just as impressive. Staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure everything came out quickly while still giving us time to enjoy the experience. Tulum Modern Mexican is such a cute spot — the aesthetics are absolutely beautiful and give it such a warm, inviting vibe. It’s a versatile place that works perfectly for a date night, a fun girls’ night out, or even a family dinner. The food was on point — full of flavor and beautifully presented. The cocktails were just as impressive: delicious, creative, and a great match for the atmosphere. The only downside was that the staff felt a little inattentive at times, which was a bit disappointing compared to how great everything else was. We are in town for spring training and were at another bar in the area that had horrible service. I found Tulum on Google Maps. So happy we left the first place. David was super friendly and welcoming, made a delicious espresso martini, and the steak tacos were great! They have a good happy hour too. Definitely recommend!

Went here on a date, we were only give one menu, and we felt a bit rushed at the beginning with how quickly they were clearing our plates even when not done but then took forever bringing the check. The drinks and food were good. They had a nice fire performance and the atmosphere was great.
