I come here all the time, usually once a week and sometimes twice. The staff is always really friendly, and they always give me tea when I visit. It’s also only about 5 minutes from my home, so it’s super convenient. I’ve tried a bunch of dishes — lamb adana kebab, mixed kebab, lamb tikka, lamb over iskender, lamb doner — all over rice. Everything has been good, but the lamb adana kebab is my go-to. Another thing I really like is that I get to practice my Turkish with them every time I visit. They’re patient and it makes the experience even nicer. Overall, great food, great people, and just a comfortable place to go. Easy 5/5.
Absolutely wonderful, hospitable, amazing customer service! The owner is Turkish himself and the food is extremely authentic. I have tried Turkish food from Brooklyn, manhattan, and Long Island and the Turkish food here is just as authentic and even more! The owner himself is very generous and kind and this was reflected in the freshness and quality of the food. If you want authentic, delicious, and halal Turkish food this is the place to go! We got the falafel wrap and a mixed grill. It was amazing and very delicious.
I use to live inTurkey back in 91 and 2000 and when I saw there was a Turkish restaurant nearby I had to go. I went in and ordered quite a few items, and the owner made cacık (pronounced jah-jik) what is yogurt with cucumbers with ekmek/bread which was warm and you dip it in. I was able to travel back in time when I was in Turkey and it made my day! I can’t wait to come back. I wish I could give them 10 stars!!!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Amazing Turkish food, the mixture of spices is perfect. The owner so welcoming, treated us like family. Definitely will be visiting again
I cane here to try the kebab, I had lamb and chicken. The chicken didn’t taste like chicken it had a heavier taste to it. The lamb had a very light flavor. Light in that it won’t sit heavily in your stomach. They were also very lightly seasoned, not at all spicy. Perhaps I should’ve asked if they could make it spicy. I felt it was lacking flavor. Mom had the chicken, she usually doesn’t like lamb. She didn’t like their chicken kebab it is a very different taste, yet she liked the lamb. I would recommend the lamb here over the chicken. Ask for spicy if they have it, there wasn’t very much to go with it. I would’ve much preferred halal food, way more seasoning and flavor. For Turkish, I like different things like in restaurants where they do leg of lamb and manti, this wasn’t bad. The people
