Twisted Smoke BBQ

The food had great flavor, but the portions felt small for the price point. For what we paid, we expected more generous serving sizes. Good BBQ is hard to find in our area, and we were hoping this could become our new go‑to spot. We used to drive to Fort Lauderdale for truly excellent BBQ, but after many years our favorite place closed, so we were excited to try something new. Unfortunately, while the taste was solid, the overall value just didn’t match the cost.

Today was my first time eating Twisted Smoke BBQ and HONEY everything is GOODT! 10 out of 10. So, I got the pulled pork, brisket, apple fennel coleslaw and greens and it came with cornbread and pickles. You don't even need BBQ sauce for the pulled pork! It is so flavorful and tender! I said damn when I ate it! The brisket needed BBQ sauce but it was tender. The greens are phenomenal with a spicy and sweet flavor, the apple fennel coleslaw is crunchy and fresh and it doesn't taste like it has a mayo base. And the cornbread is so moist and good. These are the type of sides where you get mad for not having bigger portion! I got a sample of the smoked turkey and it was amazing as well. I recommend treating yourselves to this food. You might want to ask for extra sides 😂.

9/10 overall rating. Quality of food was terrific. Yes you should stop here. Pulled pork really stood out as far above what others can deliver. Smoked turkey was also just right. Burnt ends 👍🏻. I’ll admit I prefer my brisket a bit more rendered but the flavor was still great. Also the sides were great… not just one or two but all of them on the menu were terrific. The owner/ chef is very kind, samples were handed out the window as soon as we walked up to help us choose our meals. The man cares about his food and the customer.

I was in town from NY and looking for some BBQ and found this place which is a nice trailer setup with a smoker. Brad greeted me with some samples of the Turkey, pulled pork, and sausage and they were all excellent. I went with the turkey, collard greens and cole slaw. I would put this up there with some of the Best BBQ I have ever had. I will coming back next time I am in the area.

The ribs are good. They fall right off the bone. Have a great taste to it. Four different barbecue flavors. The mac & cheese is good. It’s creamy not dry. Collard greens were delicious. You can tell they are fresh.
