Today we tried the cheese and meat burek. Both were delicious. A taste of the old country. Truly a hidden treasure. The shop was very clean and well maintained. The owners were very friendly and professional. Definitely going back soon.

Tried these guys at the state fair. I will absolutely be tracking down their cafe the next time I’m in Utica. We got the Burek and Cevapi. The Burek was amazing. The spices in their meat were delicious and the phyllo (or whatever it may be) dough was stretchy and chewy, so it held everything in perfectly. The Cevapi was awesome too. When I got it, I was a little disappointed because it was just the meat and bread. Then, I smelled it. The spices again were so delicious. It was served with some diced onion and sour cream, but the stars of the show were the red pepper sauce and the bread. The red pepper sauce was so flavorful and complimented the sandwich so well.
