This place really hit the spot. The Sizzling Rice Soup was the standout—hot, comforting, and full of flavor, with that satisfying crunch when the rice hits the broth. Easily one of the better versions I’ve had. The Kung Pao Chicken was done right: tender chicken, well-balanced sauce, and just the right level of spice without being overpowering. Not overly sweet or oily, which I appreciated. We also ordered the Bok Choy, and it was simple but perfectly cooked—fresh, crisp, and nicely seasoned. A great complement to the richer dishes. Overall, solid execution on classic Chinese dishes. Everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. I’d definitely come back and explore more of the menu.
I would be confused by restaurant name as the style of cooking is not very Hong Kong-ish. I was disappointed at the wonton soup because the wonton is nothing like real HK ones. Although they have lots of variety in veggies the flavor profile suggests plain chinese .
Two guys one star each. Tasteless food. The fun noodles were boring like they were out of a package. The hot and sour soup was like a thick gravy can the lemon chicken should have been called dry lemon chicken. very disappointed for spending over $100
We were not fans. The general chickens color was vastly off and it was labeled as "spicy" with zero spice. Flavor okay. The garlic chicken was overwhelming with salt and again - labeled spicy without spice. Chow mein was decent but could have done without the chicken since the chicken had no flavor. The pork belly dish was awful and overly salted. It was 95% vegetables in sauce as there was hardly any meat. Fried rice worst Ive had. Spring rolls completely flavorless. We spent TWO HUNDRED dollars just to feed a family of 6. No forks, sauce or napkins in the bag. Overall pretty bad, no better than any other cheap Chinese place however more expensive.
An excellent Chinese place. I had the sesame balls and sautéed pork belly. Everything about this place is solid. Simple dining ware from the Zodiac placemats to the plates, they focus on the food. Quick friendly service and excellently cooked food.
