Tín Vietnamese

I decided to try this restaurant based on its high ratings, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. During the meal, I noticed that some slices of meat had an unusual green, metallic-looking surface, which immediately raised concern. I informed the server right away, but he only said, “I will check,” and no further action was taken. I placed the questionable meat on a separate plate, and throughout the entire meal, no one followed up or addressed the issue. Only after clearing the table did the server go to the back to check with another staff member. He later returned and told me that the chef said it was “normal.” Afterward, I did my own research and learned that this appearance usually indicates the meat is no longer fresh, though it doesn’t necessarily mean it has spoiled.

The clear broth has been carefully simmered to bring out a deep, refreshing flavor that isn’t too salty. The soup broth tastes like Korean 짬뽕. I think this is the best Pho restaurant you can go to in SF downtown.

I had the vegeterian pho it was nice Had much less flavor than I expected though The papaya salad was incredible very interesting taste loved it Also the fire cracker shrimp was the best

My new favorite Vietnamese spot! You know the food is good when you only took 1 photo. Really recommend the Tin roll & this rice plate! The place is quite small but there wasn’t a wait around lunch time.

I cannot say enough good things about Tin Vietnamese. Their pho has literally been getting me through my pregnancy. It always arrives incredibly fresh, the portions are generous, and the pho gà is perfection every single time. Big, tender chunks of chicken breast, flavorful broth, and consistently fresh ingredients — they never miss. I even order extra broth with ginger to sip in the mornings, and it’s the only time I don’t feel nauseous and get morning sickness with my pregnancy. That’s how comforting and high-quality it is. The chả giò is always fresh, crunchy, and delicious too! My fiancé is now completely hooked as well (which is great because we order at least once a week!). This place has become a staple in our home, and they have never disappointed. Highly, highly recommend.
