Umami Omakase

I’ve visited this place multiple times, and I can confidently say it’s one of the best restaurants in the city. A true gastronomic experience. The service is exceptional attentive, polished, and consistent every time. The quality of the food is on a completely different level compared to many other sushi spots. You can really taste the precision and freshness in every course. My absolute favorite is the signature “spoon” dish a must-try. I also love that you can order additional off-menu items beyond the standard omakase set. It makes the experience more personalized and exciting. They also offer a great selection of sake, which perfectly complements the menu. Overall, one of the top-tier dining experiences in the city. Highly recommended.

This was my 3rd visit to Unami Omakase. They are very professional and it has been a different variety on my visits. The fish is very fresh, tasty and unique. Love the different pairings and flavor combinations and variety. Staff is warm and friendly.

My boyfriend and I came for the Tuna Tasting, and it was an incredible experience! I’ll admit, I was initially a little nervous after reading some of the reviews, but we didn’t encounter any of those issues at all. Our Uber from the hotel ran late and what was supposed to be an early arrival turned into getting there about five minutes past our reservation time. I called the restaurant about 30 minutes beforehand to let them know, worried we might lose our counter seats or miss a course. Fortunately, they were so understanding, and we still got to sit at the sushi counter. From the moment we arrived, everyone was incredibly welcoming the chefs, the servers, and the overall atmosphere felt both relaxed and fun. Best omakase in Boston! I always come back and Chef Gary is always so kind and you can tell how passionate he is about everything he does. The vibe inside is very cozy and relaxing

Had the 18 course full omakase meal Excellent overall,lots of good variety and tastes.Pictures of fish being served were a nice touch.Recommend sit at sushi bar for a more complete experience,at tables same food but disconnected .Staff very welcoming.Pricey but money well spent for a special meal!
